The voice in me

I honestly wanted to answer this question but I couldn’t think of a single event. It got me thinking am I really that much disconnected to the world before me. Have I been swallowed up with my own current needs and own struggles that never got the chance to sit down and reflect on the past.

Should I blame my history teacher for not having built the desire to learn and appreciate past events and not just cram the dates to pass and forget.

Or is it because I just never really found anything fascinating.

One would think because of my Christian background I would run to the bible. But even there I couldn’t pick a single event . Perhaps I don’t exactly believe the stories to have happened and I just read or heard about them as great tales. Why did my heart not move at all.

Should I be worried?
